Also compiled here are selected inquiries on the various doubts and challenges spiritual practitioners face while attempting to perform pure devotional service.  The most original relishable form of lord Krishna is manifested exclusively in vrindavan which is the sweetest. The loving exchanges of the mellows and rasas are displayed here in vrindavan between lord Krishna and His devotees. The inhabitants of vrindavan are Vrajvasis who have a mood of total surrender to krishna in this topmost abode of krishna. Srila Prabhupad the founder acharya of Iskcon says that after rendering services for millions of lifetime one becomes an intimate associate of Krishna and assists Him in His past times as a friend, serveitor, lover and husband. They become eternal associates of the Lord in the spiritual world after concluding their pastimes on this planet earth. Rather they ascend on this planet earth to perform their pastimes with the Lord. 

It is mentioned in Bhagavad Gita that Lord ascends in this material world to give pleasure to His devotees and punishes the miscreants and thus protects the sadhus. The practice of krishna consciousness gives the self complete independence from the sufferings of material existence. The motive to attain krishna bhakti should be to become completely pure. This book Uttama Bhakti presents how the Vrajvasis will do anything to please Krishna without any concern for their own personal happiness or unhappiness. Their only goal is to see that Lord Krishna is totally pleased in all circumstances. Their only existence was to love krishna. We are eternally manifestations of Krishna as confirmed in the Bhagavad Gita. And what is the purpose of our being here? That is to love krishna. So this is why cultivating pure devotional  service is very important. This is not an artificial imposition on us to take to pure devotional service. This is our natural position. This book presents the topmost devotion of the damsels of vrindavan vraj basis of vrindavan which is called Uttama bhakti. So pure devotional service is simply a matter of shifting our priorities. All we have to do is trace out the source of the energy of the Lord and become attracted to it. So Krishna consciousness or pure devotional service simply means we simply get back to the original source from which everything is coming and that is Lord Sri Krishna.
