Valmiki’s Ramayana is a wonderful narration of the pastimes of the Supreme Lord in His form as Ramacandra.The Ramayana is one of the largest ancient epics in world literature.In eight parts( kāṇḍa)all the pastimes of Lord Ramacandra are presented in a comprehensible way. Queen Sita and Lord Rama faced immense misfortunes, temptations and obstacles with steadiness, courage and determination. This spiritual knowledge and wisdom which served Sitadevi and Lord Rama and by which we also may overcome the challenges of our lives is presented in the book.This simple representation of Ramayana will definitely give pleasure and encouragement to the devotees of Lord who read it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

His Grace Pūrnaprajña Dāsa,disciple of Srila Prabhupada .He is a scholarly devotee who studied Srila Prabhupada’s books very carefully. For presenting the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, he considered the knowledge of Ramayana to be important. Therefore, he studied Ramayana and then wrote this easily accessible English version
