Kṛṣṇa, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, appeared on this earth 5000 years ago.He stayed on this earth for 125 years and played exactly like human being,but his activities were unparalleled. From the very moment of His appearance to the moment of his disappearance, every one of His activities is unparalleled in the history of the world.In this book,Kṛṣṇa,all of His activities as human being are described.Although Kṛṣṇa plays like a human being, He always maintains His identity as the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Kṛṣṇa-Katha means narrations about Lord Kṛṣṇa. There are two Kṛṣṇa-kathas:narrations spoken by Kṛṣṇa and narrations spoken about Kṛṣṇa. The purpose of  presenting this book is primarily to induce people to understand Kṛṣṇa-katha,because thereby they become freed from material bondage. Srimad-Bhagavatam is the narration about the activities and pastimes of Kṛṣṇa. In Bhagavatam it is stated that if one hears the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa with gopis. From authorities with submission, then he will be promoted to the platform of transcendental loving service to the Lord.
